Front Office Manager

 

Historic La Playa Hotel is seeking a Front Office Manager for our beautiful location.  The responsibilities include management of all aspects of the Front Office Team including guest services, bell staff, night audit, and concierge services.  Trains staff to ensure that the highest of hospitality standards and service basics are maintained.  Position also involves assisting in the planning of objectives to maximize revenue and profits.

Duties Include:

Coordinates with the Housekeeping Manager to confirm that all room inspections have been completed

To the standards set forth by management

Ensures that staff is knowledgeable of all hotel features, room types, layouts, and overall services provided

Maintains complete knowledge of daily house count and expected arrivals/departures, and room availability. Reviews occupancy and room revenue

Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed by staff

Prepares staffing schedules so that appropriate levels are maintained to promote and exceed levels of guest service expectations

Prepares and completes bi-weekly payroll for processing

Follows up with guests regarding Market Matrix scores and concerns

Utilizes INFOR Property Management System to review inventory, guest history, and special needs of the guest

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years related management level experience within the hospitality industry
  • Ability to be available, as needed, for all shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Experience with related PMS computer programs
  • College degree preferred
