IT Manager

Summary of Position:

The Information Technology Manager is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and operation for all of the Information Technology implemented within the assigned Hotels. The Information Technology Manager is responsible for the daily operation, support, and security of the technology and data that support and enable the business operation.  This position will support Classic Hotel Managed properties in Arizona & West Coast, with some travel between locations.

Essential Functions:

  • Implement and oversee all aspects of PCI compliance & data security
  • Network Engineering–Implement networking security standards across all properties that adhere to PCI compliance and common networking best practices.
  • Maintain monthly documentation associated with PCI compliance regulations.
  • Day-to-day end user workstation support and with on-call support on weekends.
  • Work with the Director of Information Technology and Hotel Management to implement companywide initiatives into the Hotels. Provide capital planning and operating budget support to the Hotels for which they are assigned.
  • The position will maintain technologies implemented in effective working order and ensure system up time and reliability meets the needs of the operation(s) as defined by management and the Area Director.
  • And any other tasks as assigned by the Director of information Technology and/or the General Manager


  • Education: B.A./B.S. degree in Computer Science or Management/Business or equivalent required.
  • Experience: A solid understanding of the hospitality business and the application of Information Technology to that business. A minimum of three years in a management or supervisory position, responsible for the ongoing operation of Information Technology/systems, is required.
  • Certificates or Licenses: N/A

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Adept in all aspects of PCI Compliance standards & implementation
  • Familiarity with Amadeus Advances, SMS Host and other Hotel applications
  • Strong technical skills including PC and Networks, knowledge of Server 2016+ & Office 365
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time assisting guests
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
