Summary of Position:

The Revenue Auditor is responsible for auditing and preparing daily revenue.

Essential Functions:

  • Run and review Revenue Reports. 
  • Sort reports from Agilysys (POS system) and SpringerMiller (PMS) needed to balance daily revenue. 
  • Audit all servers’ sales summaries cash, credit cards, city ledgers, and resort guest charges. 
  • Verify and balance credit cards on electronic data capture machines and batch to bank. 
  • Enter all information on outlets daily revenue report and upload to resort accounting system. 
  •  Verify cash sales, charge sales, and charge tips in computer. 
  •  Pick-up and distribute daily work from the Front Office. 
  •  Calculate gratuities and/or service commission for F&B and Recreation outlets, related to revenue. 
  • Reconcile clearing accounts. 
  •  In addition, any other project or assignment as directed by the Management of the Finance department.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. 

Experience: Previous hospitality experience preferred. Skill in the use of 10-key calculator by touch. Need general knowledge of Windows environment. Moderate knowledge of Excel is necessary. 

Certificates or Licenses: No special licenses required.

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  •  Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with vendors and fellow Associates 
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines. 
  •  Ability to read English and perform simple math. 
  • Ability to accurately input information using Windows based systems. Moderate knowledge of Excel required.

  •  Professional Appearance: Exhibits an appearance appropriate for a four diamond resort (Specific grooming standards are available for review)
